DESCRIPTION:All Vets have a mission to Honor the Fallen and Strengthen the Living. Mark your calendars for a Walk in the Park on the second Saturday of every month at 9 AM. This is not just a one-time event but a recurring monthly community get-together where we inspire each other to walk and get active at our own pace!\n \nTo sweeten the deal\, we encourage everyone to see an All Vets rep at their first walk and grab a “Frequent Walker Card!” Every third walk you attend\, you will receive a gift. Each month you attend\, remember to have your card punched so that you can get your gift every third month.\n \nWhether you walk a little or a lot\, fast or slow\, we hope you will join us for A Walk in the Park. DESCRIPTION:Join artist Donald Towns for a discussion of his work on Thursday\, Nov. 20\, at Piedmont Arts. A reception will be held at 6:30 p.m. The talk will begin at 7 p.m. in the galleries.\n \nTowns is a painter\, background animation illustrator and art director. He worked for many years at Disney\, where he was involved in the making of the award-winning films “Beauty and the Beast\,” “Aladdin” and “The Little Mermaid.” He has freelanced for several companies\, including the Thomas Kinkade Company. His work is on view at Piedmont Arts from Oct. 25\, 2025-Jan. 10\, 2026 in the exhibit\, Depicting the Moment.\n \nThis event is free and open to the public.
