DESCRIPTION:Wine by the River is held each year by the scenic Smith River at the Monogram Sports Complex and is hosted by the Matthew Wayne Wade (MWW) Foundation\, a 501 (C) (3) non-profit organization. The event will be held from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM (rain or shine). The Wine by the River Festival will feature live music with performances by “Megan Doss Band”. The event will also host award winning wineries\, craft breweries\, artisan & craft vendors\, and food and specialty vendors. Bring your lawn chairs for concert seating!

In an effort to grow the festival to find its perfect size it will take place at Pop’s Farm in Martinsville\, VA ( Home of Rooster Walk) on October 16\, 17\, and 18 later this year. We will still be selling very limited tickets\, so don’t wait to purchase\, we will keep you posted here as to when they will go on sale.\n \nWhat is Yarnival you ask? It’s 3 nights of your favorite band Yarn alongside a slew of other great bands as well as alternative entertainment acts\, i.e. magic\, circus acts\, carnival arts\, burlesque\, etc…\n \nYarnival is produced by Yarn and hosted at Pop’s Farm\, home of Rooster Walk. Rooster Walk offers the camping/ parking\, and oversees the bars.\nCostumes? Yes please. The overall theme as I’m sure you could guess is Carnival. Come live out your dream of being a carnie and dress accordingly if you so choose. We encourage all to leave whatever life they lead back in the real world\, exactly there\, back in the world. Explore the campsite\, check out the vendors and food trucks on site\, and of course meet C.J. Graham (Jason Voorhees) at his meet and greet table! Be careful while exploring the campsite though\, you might just stumble upon an iconic scene from the movie! You will also have the opportunity to have your picture taken with C.J. while he’s in full Jason Voorhees costume at camp (VIP ticket required\, good for up to two adults and children per photo).\n​\nIf you dare for more later in the evening\, sit down for dinner and a movie with C.J.\, and take in a screening of Friday the 13th Part VI Jason Lives – Rated R (VIP ticket required per adult and per child\, limited to 20 tickets).
